BANDAGE INSTRUCTIONS
This is for a tattoo adhesive bandage which should remain on your tattoo for 5-7 days.
IMPORTANT
Please do not remove your bandage prematurely, unless:
(A) You have a reaction (redness develops around the bandage, and/or hives),
(B) a hole is punctured in your bandage, and/or
(C) the bandage is lifting over your tattoo.
A and B risk exposing the tattoo to outside pathogens that can get trapped underneath if the bandage stays on.

If you need to remove your bandage prematurely for any of the reasons above, do not reapply! Leave it off and continue with the Aftercare Routine.
OTHER THINGS TO AVOID
X Poking at the pooling plasma
X Taping down edges once they lift up
X Submerging in water
X Doing excessive movement or exercise
X Tearing it off or removing it without water (during removal step)
WHAT TO EXPECT
Day 1 - Day 3
Plasma and ink will pool under your bandage. This is completely normal. Leaking from the bandage is also common. Tip: Avoid wearing light-colored clothing during this time.
Day 4 - Day 7
Edges may be lifting up at this point. This is ok as long as it is not exposing air directly to your tattoo (needs to be free of bacterial exposure). Carefully trimming the lifted ends with clean scissors may help. Remove bandage at minimum 5 days, but preferably 7 days if possible.
REMOVAL
Once it's time, take off your bandage in the shower slowly under running lukewarm water. Use Dial Gold antibacterial soap to wash your tattoo as you gently guide the bandage off. Don't rip it off, or you may pull out pigment and/or irritate your skin.
Once the bandage is off, follow the Aftercare Routine.
