BOOKING POLICIES
❖ BOOKING ❖
PRICING. Beginning March 1, 2023, new projects scheduled will fall under day session pricing. Half Day sessions (3 hours) are $600 and Full Day sessions (6 hours) are $1,200. Various factors including size, placement, amount of color, and detail within the tattoo will affect the overall price you pay to complete the tattoo.

If given, price estimates are meant to give you a rough idea of how much it will be based on the current pricing structure, but are not always accurate of exactly how much you will pay in total.

If given, a price quote or flat-rate offer expires if not booked within 2 months from the date the quote was given.
If you have an ongoing project with me and do not book a continuing session within 6 months from your last appointment date, you are not guaranteed the previous hourly or day rate.
DEPOSITS. Deposits are non-refundable. Deposits only apply to the tattoo submitted by you on the inquiry form that I have agreed to do. Changes to your idea cannot be made once we enter this agreement. If you use a booking link to book an appointment without receiving my approval to another idea, your deposit will not be applied or refunded. Your initial deposit will be carried over each session until the last session of the tattoo, unless you cancel, reschedule more than once, or reschedule within 72 hours before you appointment.

$200 deposit for Half Day sessions.

If your initial session is a Half Day and you would like to continue with a Full Day, please have the remaining $200 to add to your deposit on file.

CUSTOM IDEAS. Describe your idea to me via your inquiry form prior to booking your appointment. I will create a design in my own style based on your description and my practice of body art. Please provide some direction in mentioning 1-3 elements you would like in the tattoo. When you book with me, you are accepting that the design will be done with my style interpretation and what I believe will look best when displayed as a tattoo, and some elements may need to be modified. I will not duplicate tattoos or other artwork from another artist, including yourself. If you send artwork as a reference, anticipate that my version will be different and reflect my style. If there are elements you absolutely desire or do not want in your tattoo, I will happily work with those requests so long as they are communicated to me in your inquiry form, prior to accepting a booking link and leaving a deposit. No changes or alterations will be made once we agree on an idea and a deposit is left.
PRE-DRAWN DESIGNS. These designs are pre-drawn artwork meant to be tattooed as-is; no changes can be made other than a small variation in size to fit or fill an area. Color is pre-selected. By booking a Pre-Drawn with me, you are agreeing to have it only completed by myself. If I send you a booking link for a specified design and you do not book within 48 hours of receiving the booking link, you will need to re-confirm the design's availability prior to booking. This is to avoid double-booking one design. Please refer to my Instagram story highlight “Pre-Drawn” @kikifiligree for available designs.
❖ PREPARATION FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT ❖
BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT.
❏ Moisturize your skin frequently and stay hydrated.
❏ Eat a meal within 2 hours of the start of your appointment.
Things to avoid leading up to your appointment:

Do not use any topical numbing creams or take any blood thinners before your appointment.

Avoid sun exposure and other damage to your skin. I will not tattoo over sunburnt, bruised, or cut skin. If this occurs please reschedule no later than 48 hours before your appointment to avoid cancellation.
ARRIVING TO YOUR APPOINTMENT.
Please arrive to your appointment on time (refer to the late policy below). Due to distractions, it is best if you come to your appointment alone. If you would like to bring one close friend or a significant other for support, they may sit in the lobby for the duration of your session, but they may not sit in the procedure area.
Items required at your appointment:
❏ Your government-issued ID. You must be 18 or older for your appointment session. If you arrive and do not have proper identification and/or are still legally a minor, your appointment will be cancelled and I will not return your deposit. Make sure it is not expired.
❏ Cash. If your tattoo is completed in once session or you are scheduling your final session, your non-refundable deposit will go toward your appointment. Please have the remaining amount in cash with you before going to your appointment.
❏ Appropriate clothing. Shorts for a leg tattoo, tank top for an upper arm tattoo, etc.
It is recommended but not required to bring: fully charged cell phone, earphones, bottle of water, snacks, and a sweater.
❖ PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL ❖
This is a safe space. I will cancel your appointment if you exhibit any behavior that makes other artists, clients, or myself uncomfortable. Racist, sexist, homophobic, and transphobic speech will not be tolerated.
Any signs of alcoholic intoxication and/or hard drug use will warrant an appointment cancellation.
❖ AFTERCARE ❖
Aftercare is an extremely important step in the tattooing process, and it is done by yourself after your appointment. At your initial appointment with me, please plan for $30 for an aftercare kit. For the best possible results, carefully follow the aftercare instructions on my website, which you will also receive a link to the day after your appointment.
If you have any concerns about your tattoo or aftercare after your appointment, please text the number provided in your confirmation email. Sending frequent photo updates on your tattoo while it is healing is greatly appreciated.
❖ CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING ❖
LATE POLICY. Please be on time! If you are anticipating you will be late to your appointment, inform me right away by texting the phone number in your appointment reminder emails.

If you are running late to your appointment and you do not inform me directly within the first 30 minutes of your appointment time, I will consider it a no call/no show and your appointment will be cancelled with a lost deposit.

Our session time begins at the start of when your appointment is scheduled. I allow a 30 minute grace period if you inform me via text you are running late before the start of your appointment time.
RESCHEDULING. You may reschedule your appointment up to 72 hours before your original appointment time.

To reschedule your appointment, you will need to TEXT the phone number in your confirmation email before the 72-hour period with your name and new requested date range and preferred day. Please note I only tattoo Tuesdays, Thursdays-Saturdays, but Saturdays have limited availability.

You may reschedule once with one deposit. A second reschedule will need a new deposit.
CANCELLATIONS. Deposits are non-refundable. If you cannot make your original appointment but want to reschedule instead, please follow the instructions for ‘Rescheduling’ above instead of cancelling your appointment to save your deposit!
